Pre-Season Rankings

#1 Tampa Bay

#1 Tampa Bay

Rotation is pretty nasty with nails for a bullpen. Could possibly use an offensive catcher, but try not to let him know.

#2 Atlanta

#2 Atlanta

If you don't need defense to win, then this team is number 1. I guess the fantasy gods will have to decide how important defense actually is.

#3 Miami

#3 Miami

The reigning champs have some atrophication in the rotation, but the offense will score runs and the bullpen looks air tight.

#4 Houston

#4 Houston

Not much on the right side of the infield or in the pen but I think Keuchel, Kuma, Estrada and Leake will cure that ailment.

#5 Detroit

#5 Detroit

The rotation leaves something to be desired but Bryce Harper and that defense will be a nice little crutch.

#6 New York

#6 New York

The Silver Bullets' little brother. The rotation is vanilla and no Bryce Harper, but the Defense/Offense is great. Just an ace or two away.

My darling Sharktopus will dwindle in obscurity due to a total lack of power. Things look even gloomier with the retirement of Big Papi.

#8 Kansas City

#8 Kansas City

The Pigeons will test whether or not you actually need a bullpen….. Or defense to win. I see them settling just a step away from my Sharks.

#9 Arizona

#9 Arizona

Even with a down year from Jzim this rotation will lock it down. A weak division definitely gives the 66ers a good chance to overperform.

#10 Los Angelas

#10 Los Angelas

AZ will hear the pitter patter of little feet. Namely a solid OF and Zack Greinke. Outside of that the Dodgers may struggle to keep up.

#11 Cleveland

#11 Cleveland

They do have Kershaw. However, the offense will struggle to score runs this year. Lots of young talent will change that story…… next year.

#12 Chicago

#12 Chicago

Trading for Crawford and Parra power-housed their offense. You still need to work on that rotation and bullpen though my dear Misch.

#13 Texas

#13 Texas

The offense is a year or two away from consistency but a rotation of Gray, Ross, Walker and Lester will win you some games.

#14 Boston

#14 Boston

Fantastic bullpen but the offense is a little soft. Poor Boston is stuck in the brutal AL East which will mean a tough road.

#15 Baltimore

#15 Baltimore

The blueprint is set. Price, Hernandez, a nice little offense and defense. Missing just a few pieces on each side which will keep them in purgatory.

#16 St. Louis

#16 St. Louis

Lots of nice pieces, but unfortunately a lot of limited usage. The bullpen is great but their isn't much rotation leading up to it.

#17 San Francisco

#17 San Francisco

Goldy and Tulo will have some heavy lifting to do. After McCullers and Volquez pitch the Gloom will struggle to keep runs off of the board.

#18 Washington

#18 Washington

Moving Crawford and Parra sent the Degenerates into rebuild mode and hibernation. When they wake up, they will have 11 top 60 picks next year.

#19 Oakland

#19 Oakland

Bullpen looks great. Ummm… The bullpen is good. Did I mention that's one good bullpen.

#20 Philadelphia

#20 Philadelphia

Trout, Cole, Harvey ….. Stanton. I am going to count that as at least 70 wins. Add in all of their other talent and that puts them at about ohhh 70 wins.

#21 Minnesota

#21 Minnesota

Lots and lots of nice young talent for next year. As far as this year lets say "there's always next year".

#22 Seattle

#22 Seattle

Seattle ping ponged from a playoff run back into rebuild mode. Some nice veteran pieces but not many youngsters to pass the torch to.

#23 San Diego

#23 San Diego

A nasty injury to Waino and some atrophication will put the Breeze in rebuild mode. Scherzer and Matz were a fantastic place to start.

#24 Milwaukee

#24 Milwaukee

2016 could be a long season for the Wallbangers. The rotation is destined for good things in the future but not much to brag about in the present.
