Boston Crab Cakes

Future of the Franchise

Andrelton Simmons
Andrelton is a man of mystery. For starters, bet you can't guess where he's from. If you said the Netherlands, you'd be correct. Next, try and guess his drafted position. Yup, pitcher. Mystery.
He is now one of the elite defensive short stops in the game, regardless of his beginnings. He does have a mediocre bat, doesn't have a lot of power, but baseball is not one sided. His glove will be impactful, and he will be a staple up in the middle for many years.
Team MVP

Andrew McCutchen
Growing up, McCutchen loved art and poetry. Of course, by the age of 13 he was playing baseball against high schoolers and excelling, so his passions changed.
He's a Gold Glover, can steal, can hit for power, has been in a race for a hitting title, and has been a league MVP. He's been in the top three of MVP voting two other times, three-time Silver Slugger award winner, four time All-Star, and was fourth in Rookie of the Year award.
It's not hard to believe that he's the MVP on almost any team he plays on. So with Boston, prepare to see him bat anywhere in the lineup, and roam the outfield for many years to come.
