Arizona 66ers

Future of the Franchise

TBD

Team MVP

Madison Bumgarner

Madison grew up in a small town in North Carolina, nicknamed "Bumtown", the name originating from the hundreds of Bumgarner's currently living, and scores of past residents adorning the headstones in the cemetery.

His first All-Star appearance was in 2013, when he finished the regular season with a 2.77 ERA and 13 wins. He was named the World Series MVP in 2014 in which he earned two wins, one coming off a shutout in Game 5, and on two day's rest coming back for game 7 to throw 5 scoreless innings to earn a save. Insane. For the Series, he carried a 0.43 ERA and 0.48 WHIP to go along with a 17:1 strikeout to walk ratio.

In 2014 he is only 25 years old and a lot of room to grow and mature. Arizona will ride his arm for the next four years and hope for many World Series records in the future.
